At Slowers we love nature, sharing our lives with animals and walking consciously. We live in the countryside, near the Mediterranean sea and that's where our inspiration comes from. We like everything that is handmade and slow.

We have deep respect for life and believe that our shoes can make a positive mark on the world. That is why we do them in the most sustainable way that we can. We like to savor life at our own pace, paying attention to the present so that no moment escapes us. This and other little things are taught to us every day by our doggy friends:

• They teach us that we can walk at a different pace.
• They teach us that this moment is gone if you are thinking about something else.

Slowers is made up of a great small team. Sometimes we are not as slow as we would like, but we always have the intention of improving every day.

We are often asked questions about Slowers, let's answer a few:

Why shoes?
Because (for humans) they are our point of connection with the earth.

Why slow?
We like to stop and do things slowly to enjoy them. We believe that rushing is never a good advisor.

Why organic?
Because we are nature. The organic generates and regenerates life.

Why vegan?
The love and respect we feel for animals had to be reflected in our way of making shoes.

Why pretty?
… Why not? Beauty is food for the soul. If something is useful and beautiful, it is more sustainable.
